The Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) is a national online register. By conducting a PPSR search you can find out if an individual or company has a securities interest attached to their personal property.
The types of PPSR Searches available are:
- Organisational Grantor: This search allows you to identify if there is any registered interest in an organisation’s assets. Organisations include, companies, bodies corporate, a partner in a partnership with an Australian Business Number (ABN), bodies politic and a trustee of a trust with an ABN.
- Individual Grantor: This search allows you to identify if there are security interests registered against an individual’s personal property.
- Motor Vehicle: This search identities if there is any money owning on a vehicle.
- Watercraft: Also known as a boat search, it identifies if there is any security interest registered against the watercraft.
- Aircraft: This search allows you to identify if there are security interests registered against an aircraft.
- Intellectual Property: This search allows you to identify if there are security interests registered against an IP.
- Registration: This search shows the history of a PPSR registration.
- Ordinal: This search shows all registration events. These events include when it was first created, if it’s changed or if a new one has been created.
triSearch is one of the only providers to offer bulk PPSR registrations, up to 50 at a time.
The user-friendly platform and helpful staff made switching to triSearch a breeze. Searches and Certificates come back faster and on the rare occasion I require the HelpDesk, they always seem to find a solution.
