Revenue NSW 2023 Section 47 Clearance Certificate is now available to order through the triSearch platform.
The 2023 Section 47 Clearance Certificate went live for triSearch clients on Monday, December 12, 2022, in line with the release date of Revenue NSW.
Revenue NSW is encouraging all conveyancers practicing in NSW to only order the certificate after settlement dates have been scheduled.
According to the Revenue NSW media release: “Processing timeframes may take up to 10 business days (from the request date).”
The release also included three provisions for settlement: “the land tax clearance certificate showing a charge, either a vendor or purchase copy; a copy of a Notice of Assessment (if due date has not passed); or the Amount to Clear (ATC)/Clearance Quote.
“The charge on the land will be considered removed upon payment of the amount shown on these documents.”
Adding: “In Land tax, a Clearance Quote, or an Amount to Clear (ATC) is used to allow you to proceed with a settlement of property when land values are not available, or a Notice of Assessment hasn’t been issued (e.g. as result of new land subdivision).”
The 2023 property clearance certificate issued by the Victoria State Revenue Office (Victoria SRO) is also available through the triSearch platform.
Victoria SRO website reads: “If you applied for a property clearance certificate in 2022 for a property that will be settled or auctioned in 2023, the certificate will be issued after Tuesday 3 January 2023.”
Property certificates for Queensland property matters remains unimpacted through the triSearch platform, with QLD Revenue Office continuing to run a financial year period from 1 Jul 2022 to 30 Jun 2023.
